We are an exciting and vibrant community-led initiative founded and led by Tinta Tribe, that provides young people in the township with a safe, positive space where they can learn new skills and find support and inspiration.
About Kwa'Mlungu
Kwamulungu is a community-driven initiative by Tinta Tribe that empowers young entrepreneurs in Siqalo by providing them with the tools and resources they need to start and grow their own businesses. Our program is designed to support young people in the community who have a passion for entrepreneurship, but may lack the resources or support to turn their ideas into reality.

Our vision is to create a sustainable and self-reliant community by providing young people with the tools and resources they need to start and grow their own businesses.
The idea for Kwamulungu was born out of the challenges faced by young people in Siqalo, including drugs, crime, and limited opportunities. Despite their talents and potential, many young people in the community struggle to find ways to support themselves and their families.
We believe that by providing young entrepreneurs with the support they need to start and grow their own businesses, we can help them to break the cycle of poverty and create a more positive and supportive environment for the whole community.

The history of the Kwa'Mlungu
Our program includes a variety of initiatives to help young entrepreneurs succeed, such as:
- Resource suppliers for musicians and artist startups: We understand that one of the biggest challenges for young entrepreneurs is getting access to the resources they need to start their music business. That's why we work with local suppliers to provide young entrepreneurs with access to the equipment they need to get their business up and running.
- Mentoring and training: Our mentoring program is designed to be immersive and experiential, which allows our mentors to understand the unique challenges faced by young entrepreneurs in the community. This empowers our mentors to provide customized solutions and support to young entrepreneurs.
- Networking opportunities: Kwamulungu also provides young entrepreneurs with opportunities to connect and network with other entrepreneurs, which helps them to build valuable relationships and learn from the experiences of others.
- Become a volunteer: We are always looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team of volunteers. Whether you have expertise in a particular area or just a desire to help out, we welcome your involvement.
- Support: We hope that with your support, we can continue to empower the young entrepreneurs in Siqalo, and help them to achieve their goals and aspirations. Thank you for your consideration and support.
